In the Dnieper, on August 22, 2017, the ceremony of consecration and installation of crosses and bells of the Armenian Church named after St. Grigor Lusavorich (Gregory the Illuminator). Also, as part of the ceremony, a memorial spring was opened next to the church of the Ukrainian Diocese of the AAC.

Crosses were made at the First Dneprovskaya Kuznya BASTION enterprise and our specialists participated in installation works.

This is not our first work on the manufacture of crosses and other forging products for the church of various faiths.

The ceremony was led by Bishop Marcos Hovhannisyan, head of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The Dnieper Armenian community invited everyone to attend this important event.

- The construction of churches, identification, restoration and preservation, is one of the main activities of the Armenian diaspora of Ukraine, say representatives of the Armenian diaspora of the Dnieper

According to them, according to Armenian traditions, the church is not only spiritual, but also serves as a cultural center.

The consecration was led by the head of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Bishop Marcos. He anointed the crosses and bells with blessed water, wine and myrrh.

This is not only our joy, it is joy for the whole city, those who profess faith in Christ. Let the holy cross resemble a holiday. Holiday of Christ's victory over death. And let these bells always remind of God, of his Gospel, of the words that give life and eternity. Thanks to our parishioners who are indivisible parts of this temple, ”said Bishop Marcos during the ceremony.

Near the temple gathered about two hundred members of the Armenian community and representatives of the public of the Dnieper. Representatives of the Ukrainian church of the Dnepropetrovsk diocese, led by Vladyka Simeon, took part in such an important event. Among the guests of honor and those people without whose efforts it is not known when the construction of the Temple would have ended. Thanks to the efforts and invaluable help of philanthropists and patriots of the Dnieper, Alexander Petrovsky, Emil Harutyunyan and one of the active members of the community, Eduard Baghdasaryan, the regional center of Dnipropetrovsk received a chance for another historical, spiritual and cultural center.

“This is a wonderful day, our Armenian community has been moving towards this for a long time. A cross will stand above our temple, it will be a full-fledged functioning church. There will be another rite of consecration of the church itself. Until this time, very little is left. Most likely, this will happen in October this year, ”said the leaders of the Armenian community and philanthropists who presented the city of the Dnieper with more than one spiritual object and are doing everything possible to unite different religions and raise the image of the city on the Dnieper.
