Blacksmith for artistic forging

In the production of various highly artistic works of forging, often used such a device as an open forge forge. It is worth noting that the popularity of forged products is constantly growing. They are actively used in the design of interiors and photos of wrought iron rails in the Dnieper and throughout Ukraine perfectly confirm the idea of their harmonious combination with elements of a modern interior.

This design of the hearth is simple and provides the master with the opportunity to heat blanks of any size to certain temperature parameters.

For hearth, conventional fuel is used, such as firewood or well-known coal brands (anthracite, coke, wood).

At the same time, charcoal differs in the most qualitative indicators, however, it is expensive and scarce, it costs much more expensive and is used in large quantities than other brands. Charcoal is often replaced by coke.

The horn (or blacksmith's stove) in the traditional sense is laid out using brick luggage or concrete. It is endowed with a mountain nest, over which the heating of parts takes place, thanks to the burning fuel. It is with the use of such a construction that lattices on windows and other structures are produced. The nest for the forge is made with the help of refractory bricks and lubricated with chamotte (refractory clay).

Such a layout is especially necessary, because under the influence of high temperatures and burning of coke, the nest can quickly collapse. Air supply to the nest is made by means of a fan or with the help of a blacksmith's fur. The hood is made of sheet metal and is usually fixed above the mountain.

In some cases, forged railings for stairs and other structures are made of cast iron by factory-made forges. However, the size of the socket design is often limited to the manufacture of parts of irregular shape. Therefore, some masters prefer to create their own furnace designs, which are very convenient to use and suitable for working with different products. The frame of this design is created from a corner, the table is made of sheet or grate steel.

Under the influence of different temperatures, it can be deformed, but it can be easily leveled using an anvil or steel plate. In order for a flame of a certain force to form in the furnace, it is necessary to use grate bars of various shapes.
